Starting salary: £15,496 per annum (pro rata to the FTE £25,828 per annum)

 Contract: part time (3 days per week), fixed term to 31 August 2010, with the possibility of contract extension

We are seeking an experienced arts education professional to lead the development of the Arts Award in the North East.

 

You will raise the profile of the Arts Award through strategic advocacy and partnership development, working within the Arts Award’s national communications and marketing plan. You will have well-developed presentation skills and the ability to advocate at senior level with directors of local authority children’s services, cultural organisations, schools, youth services, further and higher education and the voluntary sector.

 

You will also co-ordinate Arts Award training provision across the region through an established network of training agencies.

 

The post will be based in the Arts Council England, North East office, Newcastle, within the development team, and will work closely with the national Arts Award team.
